Yarrow Lee Kubrin is a second generation cannabis cultivator with legacy, medical and regulated experience spanning controlled environment cultivation, distribution, business development, and bringing new form factors to market. An accredited investor he has participated in an advisory and board capacity for cannabis companies including ancillary med-tech, ag-tech, vape-tech, extraction-tech, polling-tech, and a multi-state testing laboratory with an emphasis on providing guidance and input on user experience (UX), go to market strategy (GTM), sales, corporate and organizational development, and licensing technology into other sectors.

As founder of Special Teams Consulting since 2016 his sole proprietor consultancy clientele has been predominantly from word of mouth referrals via cannabis attorneys and CPAs. A cannabis patent co-developer in bio availability Yarrow has focused on providing clients high level due diligence, geo-specific license information, regulated ecosystem navigation from Trenton to Tel Aviv for business development with a focus on science and real property.

His policy involvement has include positions with The Sonoma County Growers Alliance, The California Cannabis Industry Association, The National Cannabis Industry Association, The Sonoma County Cannabis Alliance, and The San Francisco Chamber of Commerce Cannabis Advisory Committee

His 21+ years of real estate experience includes a couple of years in finance, 11 years as a top producing realtor specializing in luxury rural residential in the wine country, commercial sales, and land (4500 + acres sold). The past 7 years has been focused on zoning and site specific “highest-and-best-use” considerations (HBU). From 2017-2021 he originated 7 figures in cannabis real estate sales per annum with the Lucero Group of Vanguard Properties.

Most recently he was the Director of Real Estate for CannDev; a commercial real estate development company that takes the uncertainty out of the site selection process for cannabis brick and mortar retailers. During his time there his direct report staff tripled to accommodate transactional due diligence, deliverables & post acquisition landlord oversight for 10 + million in tenants side construction improvements. Under his leadership of the sales department the company controlled the real estate for 15% of the locations that were awarded retail permits in Ohio. He completed the company's first 10+ transactions, managed the capital partner(s), most outside counsel, out-of-state broker relationships while the company doubled the number of states in development.

He studied Public Administration at the University of San Francisco and has 20+ units of real estate training from the Santa Rosa Junior College.
