Marie has been a partner at DELCADE since 2022 and is a member of the Healthcare & Life Sciences team. Her activity is mainly focused on regulatory aspects related to Life Sciences.
Marie advises and represents the interests of various players in the Life Sciences sector (pharmaceutical companies, medical devices, nutraceuticals, cosmetics, food supplements, biocides, veterinary drugs, etc.) at all stages of the lifecycle of their products and services. She has also developed an in-depth expertise on regulatory and legal issues related to the emerging therapeutic cannabis and wellness hemp/CBD industries.
Her expertise spans advisory work on regulatory issues (general product regulation, clinical research, market access, product advertising, compliance, industry/healthcare professionals’ relations (anti-gift and transparency rules), vigilance, etc.) and on contractual matters. She also represents her clients in litigation before civil, commercial and administrative courts and assists them in their dealings with competent authorities (ANSM, CEPS, ANSES, ANMV, DGCCRF…). Her clients include companies of all sizes: large groups, SMEs and start-ups, both French and international.
A member of the Paris and Quebec Bars, Marie holds a Master II in Healthcare Industry Law from the University of Montpellier I, as well as an Executive MBA from ESSEC-Mannheim. After starting her career in Singapore with a major pharmaceutical group, she practiced for nearly 10 years in renowned international law firms before founding her own practice in 2020. She is a frequent speaker at international seminars and conferences on regulatory issues, particularly in relation to the cannabis industry. Outside the firm, Marie is a member of the International Cannabis Bar Association (INCBA) and the French Regulatory Affairs Association (AFAR).
