Moderated by Shabnam Malek, Chief Legal Officer of 1906 by Nuka Enterprises, LLC, speakers will join session organizer Belle Borovik, Head of IP at Chia Network Inc., to share their knowledge and understanding of Web 3.0, including: addressing issues central to blockchain and cryptocurrency, such as securities implications around tokenization and fiat; providing an overview of IP issues related to the Metaverse and NFTs; and discussing clients' need for ongoing support with the same old issues in this new disruptive space.

Special guest: Evan Horowitz from WeedClub, will speak to the issues as they pertain to his everyday - the client's - perspective.

Steve Schain - will impart on the masses his knowledge and understanding of the blockchain and cryptocurrency, including addressing some of the securities issues around tokenization and fiat. (10-12min)

Belle Borovik  - will follow his presentation with a brief overview of IP issues related to NFTs and the Metaverse. (10-11min) 

Evan Horowitz - will examine/discuss the issues just raised as they pertain to his everyday - the client's perspective. (10-11min)

Hannah Stitt  - will close out the presentation with a quick discussion of how clients in this new disruptive space still need help with the same old issues. (10-11min)



This program is eligible for 1 hours of General CLE credit in 60-minute states, and 1.2 hours of General CLE credit in 50-minute states. Credit hours are estimated and are subject to each state’s approval and credit rounding rules.
