Description

This webinar will go over internal litigation within business entities in the cannabis industry. Topics will include common types of litigation (minority/majority shareholder disputes, breach of fiduciary duty, etc.), steps for evaluating a potential litigation case, unique considerations for cannabis entities in internal dispute litigation, alternative dispute resolution, and settlement considerations.

This program is eligible for 1 hours of General CLE credit in 60-minute states, and 1.2 hours of General CLE credit in 50-minute states. Credit hours are estimated and are subject to each state’s approval and credit rounding rules.

Prior to private practice, Dean interned at the appellate court level (Colorado Supreme Court) and clerked for two different trial courts (Colorado District Court; Maryland Circuit Court). He received his B.B.A. degree (Finance) from The George Washington University where he was a scholarship athlete on the Men's Swimming Team. He received his J.D. degree from the University of Denver College of Law where he graduated with the highest academic distinction, Order of Saint Ives.
