As the Senior Associate Director for State Government Affairs at Davidoff Hutcher & Citron LLP, Nicole L. Weingartner, provides strategic advocacy support to the firm’s state government relations clients on budgetary, legislative, and other regulatory matters. This includes the design and implementation of a legislative advocacy campaign, review of potential implications of state and/or local laws, as well as assisting in Political Action Committee operations (development, management, bookkeeping, and reporting). Nicole is also responsible for specific day-to-day executive support to the State Government Relations Practice Chair, Steve Malito. Nicole was brought into DHC's Cannabis Practice Department as a Regulatory Analyst in May 2021.

Nicole began her career serving as Communications Specialist for the New York State Senate and as a Regional Coordinator of Intergovernmental Relations for the New York State Assembly. Her years of experience in Albany, helping the firm’s clients navigate the legislative and budget processes each year.

Nicole has been a leader within many organizations, such as the Viscardi Advisory Council, the Young Professionals Steering Committee of the Association for a Better New York (ABNY), and the Board of Ambassadors for CaringKind (formerly the Alzheimer’s Association, New York City Chapter). She is a proud Alumna of Monmouth University (B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies – Criminal Justice & Music Industry) and Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology (B.S. in Airport Management & Air Traffic Control).
