Bregt Raus specialises in intellectual property and EU regulatory affairs, with a focus on patents, plant variety rights, and matters relating to the agri-food and life sciences industries. He has experience in both non-contentious and contentious matters, representing clients before the Belgian courts as well as the Court of Justice of the EU.
Bregt is a member of the Belgian Food Law Organisation (BFSO legal), the European Food Law Association (EFLA), and the International Cannabis Bar Association (INCBA), in addition to the University of Chicago, BAEF and Fulbright alumni groups. At ALTIUS, he leads the life sciences matrix, a cross-departmental initiative that pools know-how and hosts the recurring Life Sciences Sessions.
